Transitor testers are specialized instruments for measuring the electronic conductivity of solid-state diodes and transistors. It is a kind of thermal conductive device that can be used for the measurement of the output voltage of an appliance. This type of tester is quite useful for the measurement of the current leakage in various circuits as it has the sensitivity to detect even small changes in its resistance across a path. A small drop of water should be added to the meter's collecting bucket before it is attached to the Transitor.
A capacitor is a very useful component in many electronic instruments. However, this device does not function properly unless its temperature is recorded. Typically, a Transitor Tester is used to measure the temperature of a capacitor. Before using a Transitor Tester, the temperature of the capacitor should be measured using a resistive and a non-resistor thermometer. Usually, the two types of thermometers are used in combination.
