When going over your material review, you should go over the major points as required by the test. You should also try to answer any questions that you do not understand fully. Some of these questions may require you to seek clarification from a more experienced student.
You should prepare for a multiple choice section by having an understanding of the concepts involved. You can probably guess the correct answers and click through to the next question. Although most people do not pay too much attention to their test scores, the ones that do notice can often use some of the tips that are discussed here. Teachers who are involved with the process of test prep often use multiple resources to make sure that they cover every possible topic. They also review their tests often and look for any areas that could use improvement.
You should write down questions that you are very familiar with and have a fair idea of the correct answers. Then, write down any questions that you are unsure about. It is a good idea to memorize the test pages so that you do not waste time looking up information that is irrelevant. The information that you jot down should be brief and direct so that you spend your time focusing on the questions that are most important.
You should also be prepared to give the student multiple choice answers if needed. Although it is usually not required, most schools prefer that you do. If you are prepared to do this, then you have already exerted a lot of effort in the form of questions and prep material that you have used.
It is important to remember that you will not always have an answer right away. Sometimes the student will get nervous and may skip or click away. In these cases, you will have plenty of time to help them with the answer. By taking your time, you can give the student plenty of time to answer without going off track.
