Buyer's Guide: Reading Ovulation Test

What Does Your Reading Ovulation Test Tell You?

The most significant test in determining whether you will have a baby or not is the Reading Ovulation Test (ROT). This test has been used for decades and it is a proven successful method to detecting endometriosis. It is often used as a screening test at physicians offices before any intervention to prevent further fertility issues. Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that lines the uterus becomes thick and sometimes hard, much like a cyst. When this condition occurs, a woman's menstrual cycle can be interrupted and she may even bleed heavily during her period. There are several symptoms that may indicate endometriosis, but there are no clear signs that this is occurring.

ROT is an easy and noninvasive test that measures the amount of light that travels from the ovaries to the lowest point in the cervix. This reading is interpreted as an indication of the endometrial lining that is mature and ready to break up and fall off. If the reading is high then it is a positive sign that the endometrial lining is being shed and pregnancy is likely. However, if the reading is lower than normal, it could mean that there is a delay in the shedding of the endometrial lining which could result in an ectopic pregnancy. If the egg is fertilized before the endometrial lining has shed completely then this could result in serious complications such as miscarriage, still birth and premature delivery.

Many women do not want to take a chance with their pregnancy and for this reason they decide to wait until they are certain that they will be able to conceive before they begin testing. This is perfectly understandable; most people want to be sure before they set off on a mission of trying to get pregnant. The great news is that you do not need to wait to start testing. There are kits available that will allow you to get the answer to your question without ever leaving your home.

One of the major reasons that women become confused about whether or not they are actually fertile is because of the irregularity in their menstrual cycle. If you are like most women your cycle is very consistent but you may find that there are days when your period is far more unpredictable than others. If you are uncertain whether or not you are likely to become pregnant each month, then you may want to consider purchasing one of the kits that will tell you within a few minutes whether or not you are likely to conceive. A clear blue ovulation test can be purchased for just a few dollars at your local drugstore and will provide you with all of the information that you need to be able to determine whether or not you are likely to conceive.

The reason that you want to know this type of information is because it allows you to begin testing for pregnancy as early as possible. When you begin to test for ovulation you will realize that you body releases a number of hormones when you are ovulating. Through the course of a normal menstruation cycle you will start to collect urine that has a strong ammonia level.

If you urine does not contain any ammonia you are considered to be experiencing an early period. As a result you should collect urine as soon as possible and then you should continue to monitor the changes in your body closely. If you notice that there is a large change in the color of your urine then you are going to want to collect more urine and monitor the color of your urine throughout your period. If you do not ovulate then you will start to see a lighter shade of pink in your urine. This is going to be a very strong indication that you are not going to be pregnant. As a matter of fact if you want to be absolutely sure that you are not going to become pregnant you should collect as much of your monthly urine as possible so that you can monitor the color of your urine very closely.

The two lines that you will need to use on your calendar are going to help you to determine when you are most likely to conceive. The test will provide you with a very good idea of when you are going to be able to conceive by using the monthly temperature changes that you will notice. If you have the accuracy of a pregnancy test with you at all times then you will have the ability to become more aware of the times of your menstrual cycle that you are most likely to ovulate. This is one of the main reasons that this product is so popular because it can help women to become more knowledgeable about the ways in which they can increase the chances of having a baby.

There is another factor that you are going to need to know about your Reading Ovulation Test results. You should realize that if you are trying to get pregnant and you are using any medication or medical condition affect ovulation then chances are that you may see a different reading on your ovulation kit than you are currently seeing. Women who are using some type of medication or medical condition will typically experience a slight to significant change in the time that they are able to conceive. As such, you may want to check with your doctor to ensure that the medication or medical condition does not have an adverse affect on your ability to conceive. If you are not sure if any medications or medical conditions affect your ability to conceive then you will want to make sure that you are checking with your doctor before you begin your quest to becoming pregnant.
