What Is A Grip Strength Test?

A hand dynamometer is a tool which s utilized to evaluate isometric grip strength (isometric muscle strength). It is intended for testing muscle strength in a variety of gripping positions. Some models use electronic load cells while others employ hydraulics. The user holds both handles and then squeezes both handles simultaneously. When the handles are released the grips are restored to their original positions.
